Keys to Success With Your Nutrition Program...

1) Eat every 3-4 hours MANDATORILY

No exceptions. Consistency with your timing matters! Set alarms on your phone until it becomes a part of your routine. It takes 2 min to eat a meal and we have to respect our eating times to achieve optimal results. The body will burn significantly more calories when it’s fueled in a systematic, consistent manner and begins to understand/anticipate when it will receive nutrition – at which point it will not fight to store fat as energy. Eating this way also prevents over eating later in the day.

2) Include a Variety of Healthy Foods You Enjoy Eating in Your Program

It’s psychologically impossible to sustain a diet that is restrictive, lacks variety & doesn’t mentally gratify it’s user. Variety makes dieting not feel like dieting- and is the reason Nutrition Solutions has so many unique items on its menus.

3) Portion Control is King

Every meal should have relatively consistent portion sizes. This optimizes the metabolism to where your body will naturally burn more calories throughout the day and regulate hunger.

4) Drink 1 gallon of water daily (minimum)
5) Consistency is EVERYTHING

Consistency isn’t some of the time – it’s what you do all of the time, for a very long time.

6) Bring food with you when you’re going anywhere for an extended period of time and always have meals prepared the day before

We have to be as prepared as possible going into each day. Eating isn’t something we do when we have time, it’s what we do to look & feel out best and needs to be prioritized accordingly.

7) Weekend’s Count

Don’t screw up the progress you’ve worked hard for during the week by eating like sh*t on the weekends!

8) Stay Disciplined

It’s normal to get a little hungry when adjusting to a diet and existing within a caloric deficit. Eventually the body adjusts . In the mean tim,e drinking more water, eating extra green veggies and overall following the game plan here will help keep you fuller for longer & on track while the body adjusts to its new intake.

**When you get “hungry”, “hangry” and contemplate having a lapse in discipline, remember that a human being once went 382 days without food, lost 276 pounds in the process and remained in good health the entire time.

So waiting a few hours till our next scheduled meal should never be a problem. 🙂
